The works about to be

executed are of a very important

character and will require

unceasing attention, as

the

Masonry Dam will be a large

As to the Masonry Dam, if this had been let by Contract I would have declined to be responsible- The entire works are however to be Departmentally Executed, and I have no doubt but that they will when completed be sound, enduring, Efficient and cheap
